Kinetic Recovery Strap, 9 meters, minimum breaking strength 8,000 kg

When a vehicle becomes stuck in mud, deep ruts, water crossings, or sand, a kinetic recovery strap, commonly known as a snatch strap, is often the quickest and most efficient recovery method, provided a second vehicle is available on firm ground. Its dynamic recovery performance is impressive: even vehicles that seem completely bogged down can often be freed with surprising ease.

A kinetic strap is also highly effective when a winch recovery fails because the pulling vehicle lacks traction.

The strap is made of durable nylon and stretches by up to 21 percent. The reinforced, double-sheathed looped ends offer additional protection, and a movable protective sleeve prevents scratching where the strap makes contact with the vehicle. Shackles can be used for secure attachment where necessary.

Application:
Attach the recovery strap to both vehicles using shackles. The distance between the vehicles should be several meters shorter than the strap length, allowing the recovery vehicle to gain slight momentum before the strap fully tensions and begins to stretch. This dynamic extension gently transfers kinetic energy to the stuck vehicle without harsh jolts or excessive load peaks.

Note:
Leave shackle pins approximately a quarter-turn loose to ensure they can be opened easily after the recovery.
