Purelux LED headlights with two light modes:
Switch between road mode and power mode on your headlight

A particularly useful feature is the ability to switch between road mode and power mode (also known as boost mode).
Road mode complies with legal requirements and ensures glare-free illumination, while power mode provides significantly greater brightness, ideal for riding in the dark or on unlit paths.

But how do you activate power mode if the headlight starts in road mode by default?

Switching to power mode: a step-by-step guide

Switch on in road mode:
When first switched on, the headlight always lights up in E-approved road mode, which is approved for road traffic and provides glare-free lighting.

To switch to power mode, switch the headlight off for 5 seconds. Make sure that the light goes out completely.

Switch the headlight on for 2 seconds and then switch it off again.

Now you must switch the headlight off and on again three times within 5 seconds. This is done in quick succession:
Off → On → Off → On → Off → On.

Power mode activated:

After this sequence, the headlight should now light up in power mode (boost mode). Power mode provides greater brightness and is particularly useful in poor light conditions or when travelling on dark roads.
Return to road mode:

As soon as the headlight is switched off and then switched on again, it automatically switches back to road mode. To return to power mode, the steps described above must be carried out again.

Why is this important?

Road mode ensures that the headlamp complies with legal requirements without dazzling other road users. Power mode, on the other hand, offers significantly more light output, which is particularly advantageous when driving at night on unlit roads or in poor visibility conditions. You can quickly and easily adapt the headlight to your needs using the switching technology described above.
Conclusion

With this practical switching technology, you can quickly switch between the safe and legally compliant road mode and the more powerful power mode at any time. Whether you are travelling on well-lit roads or riding through dark mountain trails, you can easily adjust the lighting to ensure the best possible visibility and safety at all times.
